A little about Mossley Lodge's History

Founded in 1964 and based in Hawarden, North Wales, the original 17 members of Mossley Lodge consisted of eight men from the teaching profession; three shopkeepers; two general managers; one builder; one solicitor; one accountant and one bank manager. Today the membership is wide and varied with age ranges spanning over 70 years. We welcome membership from good men from any background. That’s what helps make Mossley Lodge the friendly welcoming place it is today. Our members meet 5 times per year; September, October, November and January on the last Friday of the month and for the installation of a new Master on the last Saturday in March. In addition, we meet regularly at the lodge for practice and meetings and hold regular social events where family and friends are warmly welcomed.

WHAT IS FREEMASONRY?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies. A society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Freemasonry instils in its members a moral and ethical approach to life; it seeks to reinforce thoughtfulness for others, kindness in the community, honesty in business, courtesy in society and fairness in all things.
